My plumber, Omed, was called over by the contractor for an old, broken, leaning-to-the-side, kitchen faucet sprayer. He arrived quickly, expecting the part to already be on site. It wasn't. Omed rushes to a few Home Depots. Turns out my 15 yr old faucet's sprayer would have to be a Custom Order or it's New Faucet time. So, "New Faucet Please!" I'm working from home, so I let him pick it out for me. "And make sure it's NOT ugly!" Omed came back with a BEAUTIFUL, new and modern, high-arched, single hole faucet. Solid Plumbing & Drains was very responsive on the first day of request on Thumbtack. Got to the job site within a couple hours. Mario was friendly and experienced. After troubleshooting the ceiling pipe leak, he gave me the options to address the issues in my old house and recommended cutting away most of the lead closet bend to the cast iron hub replacing it with ABS. I had limited knowledge on plumbing but Mario was kind enough to explain it to me in layman's terms and gave me no pressure so I could make my decision. I think I asked him to repeat the whole situation three separate times and changed my decision right before they started on one option (sorry)! ...

Called to get drained cleaned out. They came within the hour. Emmual cleaned it out he was very professional, and cleaned up area. Very happy with service

I am 100% pleased with this company! I sent a message cause I had 2 showers that were clogged. Within 5 minutes of sending the message, Mario called me to set up a service appt for the next day. They came and so quickly my drains were unclogged. The 2 gentlemen that came were very friendly, professional, it was affordable and what I appreciated most was their precautions they took due to covid going on in our community.

I had just purchased my home and my sink was leaking from below. The two workers ,Mario and Martin,responded to my request within five minutes on yelp and were at my home within ten minutes soon after in Otay Ranch. They showed up with extra masks and boots to protect my family from Co-vid19 and the floor from becoming dirty. Quickly assessed the issue and trouble shot where the leak was coming from. Explained to me the process and pricing before anything started. It was a great price, and they quickly got to work once I agreed. Both very professional and neat. Work was done fast so that way it didn't take anytime out of my day. I strongly recommend this company and their plumbers to any requesting great service and assistance with any issues. Best service recieved thus far from any plumbers. 10/10

Our kitchen drain was clogged and he came out to handle the situation right away and was extremely professional. The problem was resolved quickly and efficiently. I chose to have them work on other issues such as my toilet running and leaking in two bathroom..they were very professional and would hire them for other plumbing issues in a heartbeat

Amazing job. We were getting new vinyl flooring installed and Mario came to swap out our toilets for new ones. He noted our substandard construction (we bought the house new 20 years ago) and quickly replaced the flange where the toilet connects to the floor. I would highly recommend him.

My almost deaf elderly in-laws needed a plumber do to a blocked toilet, and of course this happened on a Saturday. I jumped on Yelp and started calling around and discovered that most companies were not available until later that evening, it was around 12:30 pm when I started. I finally called Solid Plumbing & Drains and Mario answered his phone right away and was sure he could have someone out there in 2 hours. He stated that if they could make it sooner they would let us know, and sure enough they called and were able to arrive within an hour. Mario and his crew were unable to reach the obstruction with a snake and determined it was further down the line. Since there was not an exterior clean-out Mario had to remove the toilet and to clear the blockage....

Called around when my front yard started showing signs of leak on a Sunday. Found these guys and they were great. Super professional and knowledgeable - willing to answer my questions thoroughly. They came onsite quickly, diagnosed my service line issue, and temporarily fixed the leak so I could get the water back on for Monday and figure out the repair/replacement situation/cost. They didn't overcharge me for the leak detection and temp fix, as compared to other companies I called. When I pulled the trigger on the repair job, they came back on a Sunday and did a great job, and were very competitive in their pricing. I would definitely call them again for any other plumping issues!
